Douglas M.W. Ferguson, CPA, CA, CPA (Illinois)
Doug is the firm’s tax partner.
Doug has over 34 years in public practice. After obtaining his CA designation in 1980, Doug spent 7 years in the tax practice of Price Waterhouse and rejoined Glenn Graydon Wright in 1988. He completed the Canadian Tax Foundation’s In-Depth Tax Course in 1983 and has been a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation since that time. Doug obtained his United States Certified Public Accountants (CPA) designation in 2012.
Doug has experience in Canadian corporate tax and cross-border tax issues, individual taxation in both Canadian and the United States as well as experience in the area of estates, trusts and eldercare.
Doug has been the treasurer of the Oakville Red Cross, has been on the professional advisors committees of the Oakville Hospital Foundation and the Oakville Community Foundation and is one of the founding members of the Estate Planners Council. Doug has coached both minor hockey and baseball in Oakville.
Doug is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time at the family cottage on Kawagama Lake.
Doug has participated in the Oakville Community Foundations Marathon of Golf for the past 13 years and has raised over $130,000 to-date.
James F. Reinhardt, CPA, CAJames has over 30 years of experience in public practice. After obtaining his CA designation in 1980, James spent 7 years in the corporate audit practice of Samson Belair from 1981 to 1987. During this time, he taught auditing classes to the English speaking CA’s at Samson Belair national headquarters in Montreal. James joined the firm in 1988 and became a partner in 1990.
James serves clients in many industries, with expertise in the automotive sector as well as estate tax and succession planning.
James has coached both minor hockey and baseball. He is a past Chair of Finance at a parish community church. James has sponsored minor hockey and baseball teams for both girls and boys. James has also participated in fundraising for the Oakville Community Foundation through their Marathon of Golf event.
John R. Nunnikhoven, CPA, CAJohn has over 20 years of public accounting experience dealing with privately owned companies and not-for-profit organizations. John began his career with Glenn Graydon Wright in 2001 and became a partner of the firm in 2006.
He provides assurance, accounting, personal and corporate tax planning and compliance, and business advisory services to an array of owner managed businesses. His experience and portfolio of clients is quite diverse and includes franchises, construction, professional services, investment companies, registered charities and not-for-profit organizations.
John believes in providing practical advice in a professional, accurate and timely manner that is tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. He has a strong desire to exceed client expectations. His specialties include Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE), Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations (ASNPO), personal and corporate tax planning and compliance and business advisory services.
John is an active member in the Halton Region Experts on Demand and Youth Entrepreneur Mentors Programs. He has been a strong supporter of the Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton charities for many years. John enjoys playing golf and participates in various Halton area ice hockey leagues throughout the year.
Anthony Falco, CPA, CAAnthony has over 14 years of experience in public practice and obtained his CA designation in 2003. He joined Glenn Graydon Wright in 2001 as a student and became a partner in 2015.
He serves clients in a variety of industries and has considerable experience in the construction and automotive sectors along with assisting new business owners in incorporating and setting up their business. He works directly with client management personnel in completing engagements in a timely, effective, and cost efficient manner. Most of the clients Anthony works with are owner-managed businesses which require preparation of annual financial statements, corporate income tax returns and income tax planning along with personal income tax and estate planning.
Anthony is involved with the firm’s practice standards for accounting, assurance and taxation along with management of the firm’s personnel and quality control guidelines.
Anthony has volunteered with preparing personal income tax returns for low income seniors and other charitable causes. Anthony is also a member of the Estate Planners Council of Halton and serves on the Executive Committee. In his spare time Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and is an enthusiastic basketball fan.
Atif Akhtar, CPA, CAAtif has over 10 years experience in public practice. After joining Glenn Graydon Wright LLP as a student in 2001, he obtained his CA designation in 2003.
Atif’s main responsibilities are in the areas of assurance and advisory including personal and corporate taxation for owner managed businesses in addition to management of the firm’s personnel. He ensures that the firm is up-to-date on new standards in accounting and assurance. Atif has experience in a variety of sectors including professional services, manufacturing, food & beverage, construction and an expertise in non-profit organizations.
Atif has volunteered his time and services by organizing seniors’ tax clinics and preparing personal tax returns for lower income individuals from 2002 to 2011 as well as participating in many charitable causes throughout the years. Atif is an avid movie buff and basketball fan and also plays organized softball during the summer in addition to helping coach his sons’ sports teams.
Chris Reinhardt, CPA, CAChris has over 7 years experience in public practice. After joining Glenn Graydon Wright LLP as a student in 2007, he obtained his CA designation in 2010.
Chris’ main responsibilities are in the areas of assurance and advisory including personal and corporate taxation preparation and planning for owner-managed businesses. He has a variety of experience across many industry sectors including automotive dealerships, wholesale and retail distribution, and construction groups.
Chris has volunteered with preparing personal income tax returns for low income seniors and other charitable causes. He has also volunteered his time by coaching and managing teenage baseball teams at a variety of levels with Oakville Little League and has provided assistance with various League tournaments. Chris spends his spare time playing guitar and training at the gym.
Lisa Crosby, CGA
Lisa has over 10 years of experience in public accounting. She joined the firm as a student in 2001 and obtained her CGA designation in 2012. She specializes in privately owned companies and not-for-profit organizations. She provides assurance, accounting and personal and corporate tax services to a broad range of small to large privately owned businesses, registered charities and not-for-profit organizations. Her focus is in providing comprehensive services to entrepreneurs and their families.
Lisa has volunteered with preparing personal income tax returns for low income seniors and is a supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton.
Lisa enjoys a variety of activities including running, camping and tackling home renovation projects. She spends her free time at the rink with her husband and three young boys.
Paul Wieczorkowski, CPA, CGAPaul graduated Ryerson Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Business Management and Accounting in 1996. He joined the firm in 2001 and obtained a Certified General Accountant designation in 2006. Paul furthered his education by completing the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course in 2010.
Paul is currently specializing in cross-border taxation between Canada and the United States. Responsible for the preparation of U.S. taxation filings and informational reporting for individuals, corporations and estates. Paul is also a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
In his leisure, Paul enjoys the cottage, fishing, snowmobiling and travelling.
Nicole Almeida, CPA, CANicole joined the firm in January 2011, after obtaining her CA designation in 2010. She provides assurance and income tax services to not-for-profit organizations and owner-managed businesses. She works with clients in various industries including auto dealerships, construction, manufacturing and charities.
Nicole works in general practice, planning, performing and supervising accounting and assurance engagements throughout the Oakville and surrounding area. She is also involved in the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns
Nicole has volunteered her time and services by organizing seniors’ tax clinics and preparing personal tax returns for lower income individuals as well as participating in many charitable causes throughout the years, and is the past Treasurer of her Toastmasters club.
Trish BuyersTrish has 19 years of experience in public practice. Upon completion of a recognized accounting program with Sheridan College in 1981, Trish was employed by Samson Belair from 1981 to 1984. She spent one year employed outside of public practice and then joined the firm in 1985 to 1990. After raising her three children she returned to the firm in 2003.
Trish provides many services to our client’s, including preparation of review and compilation engagements, corporate, personal and estate tax returns and general client support.
Trish and her family enjoy skiing, hiking and cooking together. They are huge animal lovers and dedicate time to the fostering of animals on behalf of the Oakville Humane Society.
Ana has over 13 years of experience in public accounting. She joined the firm in 2008.
Ana’s responsibilities include preparation of review and compilation engagements, corporate and personal tax returns as well as trust returns. She also provides accounting support to client’s.
Greg McDonnellGreg is one of the newest members of the Glenn Graydon Wright team, joining the firm in early 2014. Greg is in the process of writing the CPA exams and is working towards completion of his CPA designation in 2016.
Greg’s main responsibilities are preparing Notice to Readers, Reviews and corporate tax returns for clients as well as conducting external audits.
Greg is an avid baseball and football fan and enjoys travelling on his time off. In the summer he coaches and plays for a men’s softball team.
Bilal Rizwani, CPA, CABilal has over 4 years of experience in public practice. He joined the firm as a student in 2013 and obtained his CA designation in 2014.
He works with clients in a variety of industries and has experience in the construction, automotive and financial services sectors. Bilal’s main responsibilities include preparation of annual financial statements and corporate and personal income tax returns.
Bilal has volunteered with preparing personal income tax returns for students at university, and participating in municipal election campaigns as office support. In his spare time Bilal enjoys travelling, reading and is a passionate fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Enza SabatinoEnza has over 25 years experience in public accounting. She joined the firm in 1995.
Enza’s responsibilities include preparation of review and compilation engagements, corporate and personal tax returns and providing accounting support to clients. Enza has extensive knowledge and expertise in dealing with franchises and their owner/managers.
In her spare time, Enza and her husband enjoy spending time supporting the passions of their children being hockey, drama and gymnastics.
Renata WorthRenata has over 19 years experience in public accounting. She joined the firm in 1997.
Renata’s responsibilities include preparation of compilation engagements, corporate, personal, estate and trust tax returns, eldercare services and providing accounting support to clients.
In her spare time, Renata enjoys supporting her children’s dance, lacrosse and soccer extra curricular activities.
Andrea ZhangAndrea joined the firm in 2014 as a coop student during her study in University of Toronto for Master Degree of Management and Professional Accounting. After graduation in 2014 she successfully completed the UFE and she started working for the firm on a full-time basis.
Andrea provides on-site and off-site assurance work and completes personal and corporate tax returns. She has accounting and audit experience in various industries such as manufacturing, transportation, construction and not-for-profit organizations.
Andrea enjoys going to gym, playing guitar and travelling.
